Paint protection and restyling services typically take anywhere from several hours up to a few days, depending on the scope of work and vehicle condition. For example, paint correction and ceramic coating can require multiple stages including preparation, application, and curing time. Your service advisor will provide a detailed timeline based on your specific service.
You don’t need to be present for most mobile services, but we do require a key drop-off or access to your vehicle at the scheduled time. Your service advisor will explain the details during booking. If you prefer to be there, that’s great too — just let us know.
Please ensure your vehicle is clean and free of heavy dirt or debris before arrival. This helps us start with the best possible surface for paint correction or protection. Removing personal items and accessories is recommended, especially if your vehicle will be wrapped or vinyl applied.
Professional paint protection coatings typically enhance gloss and smoothness, giving your vehicle a richer, deeper shine. Some coatings can make the surface feel slick or hydrophobic. Restyling options like vinyl wraps will change the appearance but preserve the underlying paint.
We specialize in exterior paint and bodywork — interior services, engine cleaning, or standard washes are not included. For vinyl wraps or paint protection, we avoid areas where proper adhesion or curing cannot be guaranteed, such as damaged or heavily corroded panels. Also, if its not on the estimate, it is not getting done unless the work is agreed upon by the customer.
Your satisfaction is important to us. If you’re unhappy with the outcome of your paint protection or restyling service, please contact us within 7 days of completion. We will assess the issue and, at our discretion, may re-perform the service or address any concerns to meet industry quality standards.
While we do not offer refunds for services already rendered, we stand behind our workmanship and use industry-leading products. If a problem arises, we commit to working with you to resolve it through repairs or touch-ups, ensuring your vehicle looks its best.
Absolutely! We encourage you to reach out by submitting a contact form or via email if you notice any issues or have questions following your service. Our service advisors will respond promptly and work with you to find a satisfactory solution.
Our experienced technicians follow strict industry standards and use professional-grade products to deliver exceptional results. Each vehicle undergoes a thorough inspection before, during and after completion, and our team continuously updates their skills to stay current with the latest techniques and technologies.
Paint correction is the controlled polishing or sanding process that reduces or removes surface defects — swirl marks, light scratches, haze, and buffer marring — restoring gloss and clarity to the clear coat. We use calibrated digital paint gauges and step-based correction to remove the minimum amount of clear coat while achieving results. Apex Auto Detailing
We offer multi-stage correction packages. A “Stage 1” may address light swirls and improve gloss; higher stages include heavier compounding and finer polishing to remove deeper defects. The exact stage recommended depends on paint condition and desired outcome.
Paint correction can remove or reduce many clear-coat level scratches and defects. Deep scratches that penetrate to the base coat or primer, or dents, require bodywork/paint repair and are outside standard paint correction scope.
No — paint correction is not included by default with our ceramic coating services. We perform a non-corrective prep polish designed to enhance gloss and prepare the surface for coating, but it will not remove swirl marks, scratches, or deeper defects in the clear coat.
If additional corrective polishing or sanding is required to achieve your desired results, these steps will be quoted separately as an add-on service. To provide an accurate estimate, we require an in-person inspection of your vehicle to assess the condition of the paint and determine the level of correction needed.
Paint correction is not a quick detail, a basic polish, or a cosmetic cover-up. It’s also not a permanent fix for all paint issues. Here’s what it doesn’t do:
It does not repair deep scratches, chips, or dents. Paint correction can remove or reduce surface-level defects in the clear coat, but anything that goes through the paint layer itself requires touch-up paint or bodywork.
It is not a wax or glaze. While waxes or glazes can hide imperfections temporarily by filling them in, paint correction actually removes defects — it doesn’t hide them.
It is not a full repaint or respray. If your vehicle has widespread oxidation, peeling clear coat, or panel damage, paint correction can’t fix it — you may need a respray or body shop repair.
It is not the same as a prep polish. A prep polish (included with our ceramic coatings) enhances gloss but doesn’t remove swirls, scratches, or etched water spots. Paint correction is a separate, more intensive process involving multiple polishing steps or even sanding.
A ceramic coating is a liquid polymer applied to your vehicle’s paint that chemically bonds to the clear coat, creating a durable protective layer. Unlike waxes or sealants that sit on the surface, coatings crosslink with the paint, giving long-lasting gloss, hydrophobic properties, and resistance to environmental damage.
Waxes and sealants typically last weeks to a few months, while ceramic coatings last years. Coatings provide far better resistance against UV rays, water spotting, chemical stains, and everyday contaminants. They also create a deep, reflective gloss that outperforms traditional products.
No coating can make paint completely scratch-proof. What coatings do is increase scratch resistance and reduce wash-induced swirl marks. Self-healing coatings go one step further by using heat to “heal” light surface marring.
Depending on the product and package chosen, coatings last anywhere from 1–3 years (entry-level) to 5–10 years (multi-layer pro systems). Longevity depends on prep work, installation quality, and how well you maintain the vehicle afterward
Ceramic coatings resist minor abrasion but will not stop rock chips or major impact damage. For that level of protection, PPF (paint protection film) is recommended. Many customers combine PPF on high-impact areas with ceramic coating on the rest of the vehicle.
Coatings require a surgically clean surface to bond properly. That means:
Most ceramic coating jobs take 1–3 days depending on vehicle size, paint condition, and number of layers applied. Add extra time if significant paint correction is needed beforehand.
For best results, coatings are usually applied in a controlled shop environment (dust-free, climate-controlled). Limited mobile services may be available depending on conditions — contact us to discuss.
Yes! Coatings make washing easier but don’t eliminate the need. Dirt, pollen, and road film will still accumulate. The difference is they won’t bond as strongly, so washing is quicker and safer.
Avoid washing for at least 7 days after application to allow full cure. Light rain is okay, but avoid soaps, pressure washing, or aggressive wiping during this curing period.
Yes. While durable, coatings benefit from periodic “booster” toppers or maintenance sprays every 6–12 months. We offer coating maintenance services to keep protection and hydrophobicity at peak performance.
Yes, but only by polishing the coating off with machine correction. Coatings are semi-permanent — they won’t wash away or strip with chemicals.
Failures are rare when installed correctly, but if neglected (improper wash, exposure to harsh chemicals) hydrophobic properties may fade. In such cases, we can reapply maintenance layers or, if needed, polish and re-coat
Yes — in fact, coating PPF adds gloss, enhances hydrophobicity, and makes film easier to clean. It’s a popular combo.
No — coatings are surface treatments and do not affect manufacturer paint warranties.
You can, but it’s unnecessary and may reduce hydrophobic performance. Instead, use coating-safe toppers designed to work with your system.
PPF is a clear, durable thermoplastic urethane film that’s applied to your vehicle’s painted surfaces. It’s designed to absorb impacts and protect against rock chips, road debris, scratches, and other environmental damage while remaining nearly invisible
Yes — “clear bra” is the older term for paint protection film. Modern films are more advanced, with self-healing top coats, UV resistance, and improved clarity compared to earlier generations.
Coverage options include:
No — high-quality films are optically clear and practically invisible. Some films are available in matte or satin finishes to change the appearance of your car without repainting.
Lifespan depends on the brand, environment, and maintenance. Most professional-grade films last 7–10 years. Manufacturer warranties typically cover yellowing, cracking, peeling, and delamination within that period.
Yes — premium films have a topcoat that self-heals light surface scratches and swirl marks with heat (sunlight or warm water). This helps maintain a like-new appearance.
The process includes:
Partial installs (front bumper or hood) can be done in a day. Full-front installs typically take 1–2 days. A full-body PPF wrap usually requires 3–5 days depending on vehicle size and complexity
PPF is designed to protect, not hide. Existing chips or scratches will remain visible under the film. We recommend paint correction or touch-up before installation for the best result.
In most cases, the film absorbs the damage and can be replaced in that section without repainting the car. Unlike paint, PPF can be removed and reapplied
Warranties typically cover manufacturer defects such as yellowing, cracking, bubbling, and delamination. They do not cover damage from accidents, misuse, or improper care. Warranty length depends on the brand (usually 7–10 years).
Yes — we guarantee our installation quality. If issues arise from workmanship (edges lifting, improper alignment, bubbles), we’ll correct it within 45 days. Manufacturer warranty covers the film itself.
WPF is an optically clear, virtually invisible film applied directly to your windshield. It’s engineered to absorb and disperse impact energy from rocks, road debris, and wiper abrasion — helping prevent chips, cracks, and costly windshield replacements.
While both are protective urethane films, WPF is specially designed for glass. It has higher optical clarity, scratch resistance, and impact-absorbing properties suited for windshields. PPF is optimized for paint flexibility and self-healing.
No — it’s not a replacement for insurance. Instead, it reduces the likelihood of needing a replacement claim by preventing damage in the first place.
No — premium WPF is optically clear and designed not to distort vision. Installed properly, you won’t notice it’s there.
Yes. Unlike aftermarket tint, windshield protection film is legal because it does not darken or obstruct visibility. It simply adds a protective barrier.
Most films last 12–24 months depending on driving habits, climate, and wiper usage. Heavy highway or off-road use may shorten lifespan. When the film wears, it can be removed and replaced.
Installation is similar to PPF but tailored for glass. The windshield is cleaned and prepped, then the film is precision-applied using slip solutions. Edges are trimmed flush for a seamless look.
WPF installs typically take 1–2 hours to get down but we require it to cure and settle before we can send it home. It can often be done at the same time as other services (tint, PPF, or coating).
No — WPF is preventative, not corrective. If your windshield already has damage, it should be repaired or replaced before film installation.
Yes — it can be safely removed by a professional without damaging the glass. Once removed, a new film can be applied.
No film can make glass completely unbreakable. WPF significantly reduces the risk of chips and cracks from everyday debris, but a large or high-speed impact can still break glass.
No — premium WPF is designed to be optically clear and compatible with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) such as lane-keep assist or automatic braking that rely on windshield-mounted cameras.
When installed properly, WPF adheres securely. As it ages, it may show signs of wear (hazing or wiper marks), but bubbling and peeling are not common with quality film and installation.
Manufacturer warranties typically cover defects such as bubbling, peeling, or clarity issues within a set period (often 12–24 months). Damage from impact or wear-and-tear is not covered.
If you notice reduced clarity, excessive wiper marks, or wear around the edges, it’s time to replace the film. Most customers replace WPF every 1–2 years for continued protection.
Replacement film is typically a fraction of the cost of replacing a factory windshield, especially on modern cars with expensive ADAS sensors. Many owners see it as preventative insurance against $1,000+ windshield bills.
Ceramic window tint is a premium, non-metallic film infused with ceramic nanoparticles that block heat, UV rays, and glare without affecting visibility or interfering with electronics. Unlike dyed or metallic tints, ceramic tint provides the highest level of performance, durability, and optical clarity.
Standard dyed tint mainly darkens windows for privacy but offers limited heat rejection and can fade over time. Metallic tints improve heat rejection but often interfere with signals (GPS, cell phones, satellite radio). Ceramic tint provides superior heat rejection, UV protection, and clarity without signal interference or fading.
Yes. Ceramic tint is legal when installed within your state’s tint laws regarding visible light transmission (VLT). We ensure all installations comply with local regulations.
Depending on the film’s grade and darkness, ceramic tint can block up to 80–90% of infrared heat. This makes a noticeable difference in interior comfort, especially in hot climates.
No. Ceramic films are engineered to resist fading, bubbling, and discoloration. Unlike dyed films, ceramic tint maintains performance and appearance for years.
Ceramic tint is designed to maintain excellent clarity, even at night. We help you choose the right shade that balances visibility and privacy based on your driving needs.
We precision-cut the film to your vehicle’s specifications and apply it using a slip solution to ensure perfect alignment. The film is then heat-shaped to bond seamlessly with the glass for a clean, factory-like appearance.
Installation typically takes 1–3 hours depending on the number of windows and the vehicle type. Larger vehicles or full windshield tinting may take longer.
Most jobs can be completed the same day. For larger or custom installations, we may recommend leaving the car longer to ensure proper curing.
We recommend waiting at least 3–5 days before rolling down freshly tinted windows to allow the film to cure properly.
No. Unlike metallic tints, ceramic films are non-metallic and do not block or interfere with signals from GPS, cell phones, toll tags, or satellite radio.
Not necessarily. Ceramic tint is available in a range of shades. Its performance comes from infrared and UV blocking technology, not just darkness, so even lighter shades provide excellent heat rejection.
In most cases, old tint should be removed before installing ceramic film to ensure clarity, adhesion, and maximum performance.
With proper installation and care, ceramic tint can last 10 years or more. Many films come with a lifetime manufacturer warranty.
Yes. Most premium ceramic films come with a lifetime warranty that covers fading, bubbling, peeling, and discoloration.
If the damage is covered under warranty, the film will be replaced at no cost. For non-warranty issues (such as scratches), we can remove and reinstall the film on the affected window.
Chrome delete is the process of replacing, covering, or refinishing the factory chrome accents on your vehicle with blacked-out finishes. The goal is a modern, aggressive, and uniform look that enhances the vehicle’s overall style.
Chrome delete can be applied to a wide variety of components, including window trim, door handles, emblems, mirror caps, grilles, roof rails, and even wheels. The method we use depends on the specific part and material.
Not necessarily. While vinyl is ideal for many trim pieces, some parts achieve the best results with OEM replacement, repainting, or powder coating. Each method is selected based on durability, finish quality, and vehicle specifications.
Yes. We offer a variety of finishes, including gloss black, matte black, and satin black, depending on the method used. This allows you to customize your vehicle’s look while maintaining consistency.
Yes. Vinyl wraps and OEM replacement parts help shield factory chrome from environmental exposure and minor damage, while powder coating provides long-term durability for wheels and metal parts.
Vinyl-wrapped parts should be cleaned with mild soap and water and a microfiber towel. Avoid abrasive cleaners or brushes. Powder-coated and painted parts can be washed like the rest of your vehicle.
Vinyl wraps can last 3–7 years depending on care and climate. Powder-coated and OEM replacement parts last as long as factory specifications, and professionally painted emblems can last many years with proper maintenance.
Yes. Non-abrasive waxes or ceramic coatings can be applied to enhance durability and make cleaning easier.
Yes. We provide a workmanship and manufacturer warranty covering peeling, bubbling, fading, or defects in installation. Warranty length depends on the materials and methods used.
It depends on the method: vinyl wraps can be removed, OEM parts can be swapped back to chrome, but powder-coated or painted parts are permanent.
Pricing varies based on the vehicle, the number of parts, and the method used. Contact us for a custom quote tailored to your vehicle and desired finish.
Vinyl wrap is a high-quality adhesive film applied to your vehicle’s exterior or interior surfaces. It can change the color, finish, or texture of the surface without painting, allowing for customization, protection, or advertising.
Vinyl wrap can be applied to almost any smooth surface, including full vehicle exteriors, hoods, roofs, mirrors, door handles, bumpers, interior panels, and even trim pieces.
Yes. Vinyl wraps act as a protective layer that shields your paint from minor abrasions, rock chips, and environmental exposure.
Absolutely. Vinyl wraps are commonly used for custom graphics, logos, fleet branding, and promotional messaging. They are highly customizable and can be printed in full color.
High-quality vinyl films are designed to last 5–7 years or more with proper care. Low-quality films or improper installation may lead to peeling, fading, or bubbling.
No. When properly installed, vinyl wrap protects the paint underneath and can even preserve it. Removal should be done professionally to avoid damage.
Installation is best performed in a controlled environment. Extreme cold or heat can affect adhesion and finish, so we perform wraps in our shop for optimal results.
Yes. Vinyl wrap comes in multiple textures and finishes including gloss, matte, satin, metallic, carbon fiber, brushed metal, and even leather-look films.
Yes. Most premium vinyl films come with a manufacturer and workmanship warranty covering peeling, bubbling, or fading for a set period, typically 3–7 years depending on the material.
Minor scratches can sometimes be repaired with heat or touch-up techniques. Larger damage may require partial or full panel replacement.
Aero and body kits are aftermarket components designed to enhance the appearance, aerodynamics, and performance of a vehicle. Kits can include front and rear bumpers, side skirts, spoilers, diffusers, splitters, and more.
Depending on the kit and vehicle, installation can take anywhere from 1–5 days. Custom modifications or paint work may extend this timeline.
Most vehicles can accommodate aftermarket or OEM kits. Some rare or unique vehicles may require custom modifications or fabrication to ensure proper fitment.
Yes. We offer a workmanship warranty on all body kit installations, covering secure attachment and fitment issues. Material warranties depend on the kit manufacturer.
